Thanksgiving Day

November 28th, 2024

Race at 9am At Moncus Park

The JPJ Memorial Turkey Trot is a timed, 1-mile run/walk on Thanksgiving morning through Moncus Park in memory of JeanPaul Judice. Our mission is to continue to spread JeanPaul’s unconditional love and achieve his desire to help those in need. We are excited to team up with Catholic Charities of Acadiana to raise money for St. Joseph’s Diner; a local non-profit that serves meals to those experiencing hunger and food insecurity.

This race is the perfect setting to come together in gratitude, and spend Thanksgiving morning with our community. Bring your family and friends for a traditional run/walk/trot/waddle before taking on your Thanksgiving Feast!  We welcome all stages of runners and walkers. This race will be timed and prizes will be awarded to the top three males and females who will receive a custom Turkey cookie medal made by Bouki's Baker.

*Strollers are welcome—please start at the back of the pack to ensure the safety of all runners.
